Oven-Roasted Salsa

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound tomatoes

  • 1/2 onion, chopped in half

  • 1-2 jalepeno and/or serrano chilis

  • 2-4 garlic cloves

  • 1-2 tablespoons oil of choice

  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro

  • 1-4 tablespoons lemon or lime juice, to taste

  • salt and pepper to taste


 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Layer tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, and garlic on a sheet pan then drizzle with oil

  2. Broil on high 6-8 minutes or until they're toasty

  3. Wait for it to cool, then combine in food processor or blender with remaining ingredients
