Kenneth Gallarzo, a lifelong athlete who discovered his passion for calisthenics in his 20s, embarked on a journey to master the art of bodyweight training. Inspired by the incredible feats of strength and flexibility demonstrated by calisthenics athletes online, he dedicated himself to honing his skills and becoming a leading figure in the field. With unwavering dedication and a thirst for knowledge, Kenneth quickly immersed himself in the world of calisthenics. He spent countless hours practicing anywhere he could- the beach, the park, the gym, his backyard- you name it and he probably tried to train there, experimenting with different movements, and pushing his limits. His passion for the sport was infectious, and he soon gathered a group of like-minded individuals who shared his enthusiasm. As the calisthenics movement gained momentum in the early 2000s, Kenneth recognized the opportunity to contribute to its growth. He co-founded the World Calisthenics Organization (WCO), a leading platform for promoting and developing the sport. Through the WCO, Kenneth and his partner organized freestyle competitions and educational workshops, fostering a global community of calisthenics enthusiasts. Throughout his career, Kenneth has been at the forefront of calisthenics innovation. He has traveled extensively, sharing his expertise with audiences around the world. His dedication to education and mentorship has inspired countless individuals to embrace the benefits of bodyweight training. While the COVID-19 pandemic presented significant challenges for the fitness industry, it also highlighted the versatility and accessibility of calisthenics. While Kenneth decided to leave the WCO a short before this, he was more dedicated to growing the practice of calisthenics than ever before. Today, Kenneth remains a prominent figure in the calisthenics community with the launch of his flagship system, BEST Method, which was developed and inspired by his long professional history and multi-faceted experiences in the field. BEST offers a comprehensive approach to bodyweight training that is accessible to people of all fitness levels. By combining biomechanics, progressive overload principles, and fitness principles, BEST Method provides a structured and effective framework for building strength, flexibility, and overall fitness. Kenneth Gallarzo's journey from a young enthusiast to a global leader in calisthenics is a testament to his passion, dedication, and unwavering belief in the power of bodyweight training.
